Registration Now Open for the 2nd Phase of Hydrometeorological Hazards Management Training under the COVALEX Project

The second phase of the training on the "Effective Application of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Information Technology (IT) Tools for Hydrometeorological Hazards at a Local Level," organized by NALAS (Network of Associations of Local Authorities of South-East Europe) and funded by the EU, will take place on October 22 and 29, 2024.

Following the successful completion of the first phase in September, this second phase is designed for members of local government units working in civil protection, disaster risk management, or climate change, as well as for members of rescue teams.

Participants will gain insights into risk assessment, European Union perspectives, and available technological tools related to hydrometeorological hazards.

The training consists of four modules:

  • Module 1: Introduction to Hydrometeorological Hazards
  • Module 2: Risk Evaluation and Readiness Assessment
  • Module 3: European Union Perspectives
  • Module 4: Information Technology (IT) Tools and Platforms
