Registrations Open for NALAS Events Organized During the European Week of Regions and Cities
Both events will take place in person in Sombor, Serbia, and can also be followed online via Microsoft Teams. These events offer an important opportunity for local government representatives to meet with international experts and exchange experiences.
Details about the events are as follows:
"Unlocking Digital Frontiers & Maximizing Potential for Local Governments in the Western Balkans 6 and Moldova"
This event, organized in collaboration with the KDZ (Centre for Public Administration Research), aims to engage in in-depth discussions on the opportunities and challenges faced by local governments in the Western Balkans 6 countries and Moldova during their digitalization process. The event will bring together stakeholders to enhance the digital potential of local governments and develop innovative solutions. Additionally, it will address the opportunities presented by digital and green transformations for local governments and provide information about EU programs and initiatives that Turkey can also apply for.

"Smart, Resilient, and Sustainable Growth: EU Initiatives and Programs for Local Governments in South-East Europe"
This event aims to raise awareness of the benefits of digital and green transformations for local governments and to encourage active participation of local governments in South-East Europe in EU programs and initiatives. It will share up-to-date information on the results of the BACID III projects in digitalization, outputs of the COVALEX project, and how collaboration with EU cities and local governments can be strengthened.
